They didn't specify the problem, but I am suspecting it had something to do with the USB port on the microphone. They had it for a week at their mainteneance department and then they sent it back to me. I contacted the store and they asked me to send it in for a look. But it has already worked with this new configuration. Probably worth mentioning, recently upgraded motherboard and cpu.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with this mic or could someone know how to go about and try to fix it or if the mic itself is broken suddenly. Really off putting if a mic this expensive just craps itself by sitting on my desk and doing nothing. The mic was working only two days ago just fine and nicely. Tried the mic on my brother's PC with the same results.

Also, when I plug in the mic, a notification pops up and says it is installing drivers for the found device and after saying installation succesful, it posts another notification saying that one of the USB devices is malfunctioned and cannot be recognized by Windows correctly. I also cannot find the device under my audio device options in Windows and the device is recognized only as an unknown USB device when previously it was recognized as Samson Meteor Mic in device manager.
Today I noticed that instead of the blue color LED it has always shown, it's now showing amber color. I've been using this mic for about three months now and it has worked really well.
